Ingenia Global Partners, a global investor in recruitment businesses, is pleased to announce the appointment of Hamish Wright as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Hamish brings over a decade of international financial leadership experience within recruitment. In recent years, his experience across several private equity-backed, high-growth, and founder-led organisations has covered finance and strategic transformation in rapidly changing environments, fundraising, technology implementation, and operational change. His earlier career at Robert Walters included management of finance operations across EMEA and North America, playing a key role in the group’s expansion into the U.S. market.
As CFO, Hamish will oversee Ingenia Global Partners’ financial strategy and support the group’s international expansion through strategic partnerships and disciplined mergers and acquisitions. Working closely with each of the portfolio’s leadership teams, he will provide strategic financial insight to help scale the businesses while driving innovation and automation across the finance function. Hamish’s remit will also include strengthening governance, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting long-term value creation across the group.
Greg Hollis, CEO of Ingenia Global Partners, commented:
“I’m delighted to welcome Hamish to the newly formed Ingenia Global Partners board. His experience in expanding Robert Walters across multiple international markets, combined with his deep understanding of high-growth, founder-led businesses, will be invaluable as we enter our next chapter. Hamish will not only elevate the performance of our finance function, but his appointment also reflects our continued evolution as we strengthen our leadership team and create new opportunities for the businesses within our global portfolio.
“Today, the group brings together 187 heads across the US, EMEA, MENA, and APAC, providing talent solutions in more than 60 countries. As Ingenia Global Partners continues to evolve its structure and expand internationally, we look forward to leveraging Hamish’s expertise to support the next phase of the group’s global growth.”
James Caan CBE, Chairman of Ingenia Global Partners, added:
“Hamish’s appointment represents the new strategic direction Ingenia Global Partners is taking. He brings both the financial expertise and entrepreneurial mindset that sit at the heart of the group’s philosophy. His appointment will ensure we continue to evolve, innovate, and empower recruitment leaders across the portfolio. This is an important time for our group, our portfolio partners, and the clients they support”.
